A man approached1 a local resident2 in a village3 he was visiting.
"What's the quickest4 way5 to York?" the visitor asked.
The local man scratched6 his head. "Hmmm.... Are you walking7 or driving8?" he asked the stranger9.
"I'm driving," replied10 the man.
With due11 consideration, the local man replied, "Well, that's the quickest way all right12!"
